Terms and Conditions for GRND Poster Catalogue 2026.
1. Who we are
GRUNAAD is a non-profit collective and is not currently a registered legal entity. The Selection is organised by Klay Benvenuto, acting as Managing Partner of GRUNAAD (“GRUNAAD”, “we”). Contact: benvenuto.klay@gmail.com .
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and based in the European Union. You may submit up to two posters. Posters may be original works or made for a client. The theme is open. Work must be human-made. AI-generated work, in whole or in substantial part, is not accepted. Files must respect the format requirements shown on the submission page. Members of the jury cannot submit.
3. Timeline
Submissions: 2–20 November 2026.
Eligibility check and jury evaluation: 20–30 November 2026.
Public announcement and catalogue: from December 2026.
GRUNAAD may adjust these dates.
4. Licence and ownership
You keep full ownership of your work. By submitting, you grant GRUNAAD a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show the work if it is selected: in the online showcase on grunaad.com, in the printed GRUNAAD Selection catalogue, and in promotional posts about the Selection. GRUNAAD may shorten or edit descriptions and interviews for length, but will not alter the artwork itself. The online showcase stays up for as long as GRUNAAD runs the Selection pages. You may ask for removal at any time by contacting us, and we will remove it online within a reasonable time. Copies of the catalogue that have already been printed and distributed cannot be recalled.
5. Responsibility and release
You confirm that the work is yours, that you hold all necessary rights (including fonts, images, and photography), and that, if it was made for a client, the client allows it to be shown publicly. GRUNAAD cannot verify this. You release GRUNAAD from any claim by a client, agency, or third party arising from your submission. GRUNAAD may remove any work immediately if a complaint is received.
6. What selected designers recieve
Selected designers receive a place in the online showcase, a feature in the printed catalogue, and one complimentary free-of-charge copy of the catalogue, shipped within the EU.
7. Jury and Selection
Submissions are first checked by GRUNAAD for eligibility. The jury, composed of Jérôme Bizien, Mikhail Lychkovskiy, and Renata Motyka, then selects the works independently. Jury decisions are final. There is no appeal, and we are not obliged to give feedback. Being submitted does not guarantee selection. Around 30 works will be selected.
8. Disqualification and changes
GRUNAAD may disqualify any submission that breaks these terms, without notice. GRUNAAD may change the dates or format of the Selection, or cancel it, if needed.
9. Data Retention
The data controller is Klay Benvenuto, for GRUNAAD (contact above). We collect your name, email, country, work, and description, and, for catalogue shipping, your postal address. We use this only to run the Selection, contact you, and ship the catalogue. Your submission is processed through Tally and Google tools, and is seen by GRUNAAD team members involved in the process and by the three jury members. Unselected submissions and their data are deleted by 20 December 2026. Shipping addresses are deleted once delivery is complete. For selected designers, the name and work remain published as described in section 4, unless you ask for removal. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by writing to us.
10. Catalogue reservations
The catalogue is limited and produced on demand, and reservation does not guarantee a copy. The €6.50 charged to non-selected buyers covers shipping only. Shipping is within the EU only. If a parcel is lost, contact us and we will resolve it case by case.
11. What selected designers recieve
These terms are governed by Italian law, in accordance with EU directives.
