Museion Art Club identity and communication design by Studio Mut (Thomas Kronbichler, Anni Seligmann) is an ongoing poster series designed for Museion, Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art in Bolzano.
Museion Art Club is the museum's program dedicated to urban culture in South Tyrol, working as an incubator between the institution and local changemakers across clubbing, workshops, film screenings and happenings.
Each poster in the series is designed around a specific event. A shared typographic structure runs across all of them: the "MUSEION Art Club" header and event category sit at the top in a large extended sans-serif, with the event title, date and time set below at varying scales. The bottom section carries logotypes, credits and a QR code in a consistent layout.
What changes per poster is everything else. Background treatment, color, and typographic weight shift to match the mood of each event. The Bassiani clubbing poster uses a distorted photographic background with yellow type. The Altomare workshop uses a soft red gradient on grey. The Yoga of Stealth applies a thermal imaging visual with chromatic type. The Vogueing Dance poster sets cyan type over a full-bleed photograph. Each composition is typographically distinct while remaining clearly part of the same system.
